Impressive list of achievements capped off by the great things involved as per the manual. Career mode sounds fantastic to be able to manage a club with injuries, tribunal , membership etc

Drafting players and improving stats / development! Sounds fantastic

I'm getting excited, I just hope that people actually give the game a decent chance next week and have realistic expectations.

I remember when Live 2 came out and this place was filled with "I am taking this game back to EB to get my money back"
Because it was horrendous garbage.

It may have been answered already but if you do a coach mode can you get offers from other clubs to take over?

I'm pretty sure I saw something in the manual that said you could change ball type which I'm guessing means yellow or red but surely they'd just say ball colour (perhaps they have included the smaller AFLW ball)

Got a message from them that the draft at the end of season is all generated and we can't edit it to put the real under 18s players in it which is disappointing. Would have been nice to have a 2K style draft class thing. Guess I'll be trading picks for players again :(

Absolutely zero point of editing the TAC Cup names to reflect real players then. Shame :(

Reading through the manual was enjoyable. Of all the things I saw, what interested me most was the options available – take a look through these:

---------

Gameplay – Adjust difficulty level, interchange mode, ball bounce, and kick aim assist options.

Audio – Adjust settings for SFX volume, music volume, anthem volume, umpire volume, crowd volume, and commentary.

Visual – Adjust settings for cut scenes, wind indicator, on field kick meter, play indicators, minimap, display objectives, timer display, timer direction, mark contest timing hint and multiple nameplates.

Camera – Adjust options for position, distance, bloom, depth blur, and marking.

Replays – Adjust options for replays or specific replays for tackles, speckie, goal and behind.

Controller – Adjust options for controller scheme, player select, controller vibration, contest vibration hint.

Instructions – Select to view controls, tips and match display help.

Credits – Select to view credits.

"ball bounce"? Any ideas? Turning off the wind indicator is good; I always used to do that in AFL Live 2004 / AFL Live Premiership Edition to make the game harder.

Any ideas what "multiple nameplates" is? Timer display/direction is good too; I like to use a count-up display so you don't know how long there is left; makes things a bit more exciting. Turning off depth blur is great and I assume "bloom" is something similar?

Specific replays for tackles and speckies sounds superb. Instant Replay has been the biggest omission of basically every single AFL game. Hopefully we finally have one that nails it.

Also, to follow up what was mentioned about Target:

I asked them via FB chat, and whilst they confirmed that they are getting it, they said their price is "still top secret", so maybe there's a good chance of it being close to the $70 mark.

Can you post a screen shot of the conversation?

You'd think they'd want to start telling people now. We're less than a week away and people are now setting their mind on getting it or not, figuring out where they're going to get it on the way home from work on Thursday or during lunch break etc.

Target, just tell us already!!!!!

They'll be disappointed when they find out they've gone to get it a day early.

This may seem like a stupid question
But will the creation stuff that is already out on pc be on the PS4 version?
Thanks

Think the ball bounce, might be auto or manual mode?

Saw in the controls layout that there's a button to bounce the ball with (Manual) next to it.
