Nathan Brown, Daniel Bell, Nathan Jones and Nick Smith have all been in good form with the Demons and Nathan Ablett has been in top form for Geelong ....

All seems pretty reasonable from all sides;

MCC has ground in tip-top shape for one of its premier events
VFL teams have a more intimate atmosphere at a quality facility
Should larger crowds attend in the future then MCG staff better prepared

and if Geelong win the VFL - then Melbourne would really have missed out this year
