My thought exactly. Also I think given that Richmond have won three flags, he won’t be seen as trying to benefit “his” club and would be seen as someone who knows what success means for clubs as well as the competition as a whole

Tex has had an ACL before, its not so farfetched to suggest that the kick at the right place could have ended Tex's career.

Are his comments specifically against the terms of his contract code of conduct?
I think the AFL would be daft to pursue sanctions here. This would be victim-blaming in the extreme.

When the AFL passes these two off as "nothing to see here", this is where you end up.





Yet they are more concerned about players having a different opinion to them.
