Wise man. They certainly went close.
Mt Gravatt win against Aspley is exactly what they needed. A four qtr demolition. Some of these players who are on big money at Aspley are being seriously over-payed. Doesn't seem to be any cohesion or feeling in the team. One positive though is Jamie Sheahan. Worked extremely hard and did more than his fair share of work. Hard to believe Copeland played AFL football sometimes
 
Hi all, sorry fellas I dont know a lot about this league, I'm a Vic boy, however, I am willing to learn. What I would like to know is how did the gold coast derby go, more specifically Labrador and Tim Notting?

Can we lobby for a Aspley vs Sandgate local derby clash?Sandgate would win at the moment.At least they play for each other and have a red hot crack every week

Was replying to a post not joining the tipping, would only have missed on the Broadbeach game. But leave me in provides a challenge for the rest of the season.

They would be spewing up at Aspley. What I hear they genuinely thought with their O & M recruits that finals would be a minimum and a premiership a possibility. I don't think that they will win 6 games.

Southport too much depth, midfield dominated. Won by 35 points but margin flattered Tigers.

Notting very good,Kicked 5 goals with not a lot of ball coming his way, beat Nicklaus one on one and have not seen that very often if at all.

Looking at the past couple of weeks, they are at least showing signs of improvement. have pushed redland right to the edge and had aspley on the ropes also. if they can get a win against a finals contender at some stage, it should be enough to prove that they can at least push the powerhouses and not be seen as percentage boosting opposition.

Aspley Vs Morningside - Could be close if Morningside treat it as an easy win. especially with lillico, nash and price missing. havent got too many crash hot reserve grade players to fill the spots.
Magpies Vs Lions - Lions have too many in's. Looking like round 1 team that flogged vultures.
Southport Vs NT Thunder - Upset
Redland Vs Mt Gravatt - Good game, match up well. Vultures should be right.

Nash will be playing this week.8 state u18 players avail for panthers this week and top quality reserve grade players in the mix.
