In: Young - Gives us needed run and penetration
Reid(if fit) - Gun tall defender
Mooney - Fabulous in the VFL and gives us much needed pressure and speed
Krakouer - Deserves a game
Witts - Time to prepare him for 2014, can't do much worse than Lynch.

Out: Lynch - USELESS, 14 disposals, no points, no goals, NO TACKLES
Josh Thomas - Kicking is horrible and is too 1 dimensional
Sidebottom - Give him a kick up the sidebottom and maybe he'll come back the player of old
Blair - Just extremely costly with his turnovers, doesn't get a lot of the ball and doesn't do any scoreboard damage, lacks height and pace.
Sinclair - Shocking disposal, will be a liability in finals as he has a really weak body. Love his attitude though

Can't bring in Mooney, he went back to the rookie list after Jackson Ramsay was brought off of the LTI list, no more players who can be put onto the LTI or elevation spots that can be used for him unfortunately. He just seemed to hit form when he became in eligible to be selected in the seniors.

We still have a mid season elevation we can use for memory.

Play the kids to build up for 2014 :thumbsu:

True. Really curious to see what the coaches expectations are, do we fill a side with best 22 for a hope to take out the premiership? Or do we squeeze in about 10 extra games into players who will be better for us in a year or 2.

Same here but we really should have had four previous wake up calls. I hoped it would have come after the Essendon or Freo games but sadly it hasn't.

I wouldn't be surprised if we win because our form has been that up-and-down.

Well I think the team has just gotten a bit cocky and lazy due to our shlacking of the past 3 sides with, tbh, very very mediocre performances.

Thank **** for this;

collingwoodfc: "Ben Reid will play next week. We'll assess @beama17 during the week." More from @ncb_cfc on http://t.co/irsSms0z3i shortly.

Reid will play.

In: Young, Witts, Jolly, Reid (if fit)

Out: Blair, Lynch, Hudson, Russell (if Reid fit)

No need to make a dozen changes this week, could easily cull it down to 2 ifReid is unfit and swap Lynch and Jolly, keeping Huddo or Jolly as the predominately forward player.

Blair I feel has been disappointing and I think this is the kick up the arse he needs, Young offers a lot of run and carry, whereas Blair doesn't particularly run with the ball. Young should also be given a shot at the kickins, Shaw has been woeful.

I think we need to stop handballing and taking on the opposition players (looking at you Harry O..) we are just getting it turned over by sloppy handballs and we are getting caught on the transition. If we kick it longer, we will have more players behind the ball and we won't be caught sprinting as the ball is sailing over our heads as often.

For the output we've been getting from Lynch lately, I'd rather Grundy play the 2nd tall forward/back up ruck role.

I think long term Witts will be number 1 ruck and Grundy the support ruck and tall forward.

Also if we are going to lose like that with Hudson in the team, then I'd rather Witts get a full game as number 1 ruck. Nothing against Hudson as he gives his all and has an impact but long term it will be more beneficial for Witts to have a crack.

Unless of course Jolly is fit.

What I would like to see

In: Jolly, Reid, Keeffe, Young, Paine, Krakouer
Out: Hudson, Kennedy, Russell, Martin, Lynch, Sinclair.

Obviously there will be nowhere near that amount of changes and we're also unsure if Keeffe & Young are ready but the axe needs to be swung.

We need experience. Lynch is doing bugger all, bring in Paine while Keeffe can put up a contest (we might not even need Keeffe because of Carlton's forward line). Need Young for some run.

We have too many short people so Kennedy must go along with Sinclair, they cannot play along with Blair. Martin isn't needed now IMO while Russell still hasn't improved.

Well I can see what you say about Grundy but what I seen in VFL he can't run out a full QTR yet as he spends time on the Bench during the QTR.

I think Grundy will be the Better Ruckman be the NO 1 and Then Witts as Number 2 Ruckman and Both can go Forward and Kick Goals
