Agreed. He is currently not our great white hope up forward. Yet another player regressing rather than progressing.Paine been pretty terrible in the VFL lately, not taking many marks, not kicking goals, doing nothing around the ground

How do people feel about making Jolly play the Lynch role? It would mean giving Witts/Hudson most of the ruck, and obviously dropping Lynch. However I think Jolly is a better contested mark in our team as anyone and has always been a good shot for goal.
I have no problem with people potting him when he plays poorly but he he played one of his better games for us last week and was one of our few good players. Did you even watch the game on the weekend?IN: Beams (if available...wishful thinking, I know), Young, the Krak Dawg.
OUT: Sinclair, Thomas, Russell.
if beams is ready for VFL this week then he is ready for AFL. Play him.
young and krak pick themselves.
sinclair...he is just not AFL standard. simple. stop kidding yourselves.
russell...when i watch him i feel like i used to feel when i watched rhyce shaw play circa 2003.
thomas...couldn't hit the side of a barn from 20 metres away.
Those calling for Witts to play...he is nowhere near ready for AFL.

No-slow and no second efforts. It would be like playing one man down.
I'd be taking a punt on Keeffe.
In Jolly Reid Krakouer Keeffe
Out Lynch Russell Martin Hudson
I'd also seriously consider Young. Stuff match fitness, we dont have time for that!!
Possible sub position?
INS: Jolly, Reid, Krakouer, Young, Keeffe
OUTS: Lynch, Russell, J.Thomas, Hudson, Kennedy
B - Maxwell Brown Williams
HB - Shaw Keeffe Seedsman
C - O'Brien Swan Young
HF - Blair Cloke Sidebottom
F - Elliott Reid Krakouer
R - Jolly Ball Pendlebury
INT - Dwyer Macaffer Sinclair
SUB - Martin
Brown to Waite
Keeffe to Casboult
Jolly is less mobile than Lynch if possible.. his opponent could just waltz around delivering rebound after rebound. Jolly isn't a good contested mark, he can't get off the ground and gives away a million frees.
Jolly is pretty much a liability wherever he plays, but slightly less in the ruck as we have no one else decent who can play there.
My god we really need mumford

Very good point, I am very concerned about our fitness regime, players looked stuffed. Port had a very tough game in the wet against the swans but finished our game better than we did. What has changed? This is the fourth time in a row we play the Scum off a shorter break...
