Had this same debate last night. Since when has contested football been shit? Much prefer watching a game like that than an uncontested goal fest.

Hoo boy. It doesn't have to be one or the other is the thing, and certainly not every week.

Always hated Paul Roos for making a team full of champions, great individual talents, play the most dull unwatchable footy.

Showdown could very well determine their season so really looking forward to it. But agree 1 or 2 of Eagles, Cats ,Demons could have snuffed them out by then so may be a dead rubber showdown for the crows.
