Kind of agree that our form post bye has been a bit ordinary

Up til 3/4 time last week I was even more worried about our form but the boys showed some fight to win that game which was heartening

Really hard one to pick, really respect WC and the way they have played this year, I just hope we can win

yeah before they lost their 3 top forwards I think they only had one loss, so look out. We;ve improved a lot since then though.

Been a great weekend so far with the opposition games results. Tigers, Cats, Hawks all losing. Special mention to Carlton keeping their roll going. If we can get over the line then it's a huge weekend for us and our position in the 8 going forward. I am feeling confident. Pies by 31.

Anyone reccomend a good place to watch in Cairns?

I'm assuming you're in the city. There are a few options. P.J. Obriens is alright to watch the game. Q Sports has free pool and lots of TVs but isn't the most inspiring venue. Ruttle n Hum on the esplanade (aka Rattle n Scum) also televises but not the most comfy viewing experience and gets crowded. If Hemmingway's brewery is televising it that would be the best venue, beautiful view of the inlet with decent beer, but just the one big screen so call ahead. Also its right next to the Cairns Indigenous Art Festival which is being held this weekend and worth checking out if you like art. The Casino will also be showing it.

Concerned about the 1pm start meaning the possibility of being a bit tipsy far too long before dinner and too much daylight to continue celebrating should we salute. I get your thinking. Would get a loss out of our system. But I'd prefer we lose to someone - not Richmond - near the end of the season. Just like we did to Hawthorn in the last round of 2010. It gave us the little fillip we needed to make sure it didnt happen again that year.
