AFL Silver Membership Waitlist Number Part 2

The waitlist for AFL members moves much faster than the MCC, which is at 35 years and letting people in who signed up October 1992. Currently the AFL is letting people in from 2010 or 11 so its probably around 20-25 years.

However in that time the Shane Warne stand will be redeveloped, so who knows what the Reserve looks like during that time, and after it.
That's for full membership,provisional I think is 2006

Provisional doesn't give you access to finals, Boxing day, Anzac day or KB. And restricted memberships don't get access to the GF.
Restricted have had access to every GF since about 2016. The MCC makes an announcement at 11am on the day saying that there is still walk-up space at the top of level 4 and standing room. Restricted members can then buy a $200 GA ticket to scan in.
Will probably continue to be the case until 2 big Melbourne teams or Melbourne are in the GF.

Fair enough. I didn't realise it was that guaranteed.
Restricted entry is from Jan 1999, so a 24 year wait for the worst seats in the ground.

First time at the new Marvel last night. Fair to say there's zero benefit to an AFL Member there anymore. The Level 1 "AFL Members" bar was a free for all and no one was checking tickets.

Then the "View Bar" on L2 was open to everyone. So correct me if I'm wrong but there's no benefit to AFL Members? I'd say the wing L1 seats but there's also wing L1 seats on the other side that aren't AFL reserve.

They were definitely checking at a game I went to a few weeks ago. Annoying that they’ve gone and changed it again.

You seem surprised.

What a joke… had 3 devices going… 1:45, 1:55 and 2pm went on the site on each. The one that went on at 2pm was first through at about 2:25 and only nosebleeeds available or single seats on level 1.

Somehow ticketek gets worse and worse each year.

Had safari on the phone running on data and chrome on laptop on wifi. Both in the queue at 1:52. Got in on safari on the phone at about 2:07.

Got Q row B for King’s birthday, which I’m happy with since I needed a couple of guest passes (although last year they allowed guests on M open as well, not sure what changed this year).

But. Ticketek and Ticketmaster are not owned by same company or are they?
Ticketek handles the tickets at the MCG, however Ticketmaster is the Web server that handles payment details for paying the overall membership.

But with the frequency of data leaks, everyone should assume all their information is already compromised and should be checking their bank accounts semi regularly for irregular activities.
