There's clearly an obvious reason why Mason Cox can't negotiate a similar contract to DeKoning - Cox is just no friggin good. Not a hard concept to grasp , really
Do you have an issue with my earlier post where I discussed the relative career output of Cox and De Koning?

If so, I'd like to hear your counter argument for it.

I've asked you to discuss on many points where you refuse to engage over the duration of the thread, and now you are requesting further input to the discussion . As if...
All I will say is the numbers you put up on the head to head cox/dekoning - are they your forensic analysis numbers , or just guessing again ?

So collingwoods list peaks in 2010 coz Pendles was on that list. Oh boy
The 'normal' person would conclude there has been an iteration or two of the list since then.

Isn't it great that a club can build a list to:
1. Peak to compete in 2 Grand Finals in 2002/03
2. Regenerate it to peak with our 2010/11 results
3. Regenerate it to again peak at premiership contention in 2018/19
4. Regenerate it to peak at premiership contention in 2022/23

And the story from 2025 onwards will play out...

I like to call them "fudged numbers" from this day moving forward
Go ahead and prove me wrong.

Should be easy to start with the best 10 games from Cox and De Koning's respective careers combined.

And if a player doesn't have a majority of the best 10/20/50 games over their careers, it's hard to make the case that their career output is superior...

Just wait for...

"BuT He WoN A PrEmIeRsHiP!" :tearsofjoy: You can just predict the simple argument that is to come.
You do realise that Cox played his big finals games in years where the Pies didn't win a flag?

Pies posters correctly pointing out that performance in big finals is where players really make a name for themselves.

Cox has performed in big finals.

It is only Baggers who miss the point and think Pies fans only rate Cox because he has a premiership medal.

What's your opinion on who is the better player out of the 2

Career output to date, Cox has the runs on the board.

But as Fudge noted, it is more than likely that as TDK probably has another 8-10 years of his best football ahead of him that TDK will end up better.

For 2025, I would prefer TDK.

On what basis is Cox, currently a better player than Walsh
