Hi - thinking about becoming a silver member and have a couple of quick questions. What’s it cost to reserve a seat and how often do you need to do that to get a decent seat? Tks
Is it $10-$15 to reserve?

Pies games? Pretty much every game will need reserving.

You have to remember that its a corporate dumping ground, and GA are now starting to get entry so seats are at a premium.

Unless you are quick, you'll be stuck up on L4 with the broccoli heads starting fires and smoking

$10

And it depends on what you consider decent. If you're fine with level 4 - hardly ever. Anzac day, KB, dreamtime, Carl/Richmond and Carl/Coll are probably it.

If you want level 1/2/2a, then you're booking every Collingwood match.

Joining & reserve seating fees can be a bit steep but in 3-4 years when you become a Gold Member....it'll all be worth it :thumbsu:

This is my 10th season as silver
I’m still 8,895 on the list
I signed my wife up in 2019
She is 18,995

I have been going up roughly 2,000 spots every season so I’m looking around the 15 year mark
The closer you get the slower the jump in the queue as less people drop off in front of you. You won't be going up 2000 spots from now on, some people only went up a few hundred spots some years.

For info, my cousin was around 7000 in 2014 and got full membership just last year.

It was during covid when ppl dropped off

Try 10 years plus
Currently sitting at 26000 Gold and 23000 Silver members (capped at 30,000 each)
AFL Membership last year had 97% retention.
I saw these figures in the notes that came out of the AFL Members Association meeting with the AFL too.

What I don't understand is if full membership is capped at 30k why are there only 26k full members? That's 4k silver members that should be getting upgraded! How does that work?
