I wonder why they havnt mentioned what number we are all are this year
Anybody know?
Wasn’t there an email sent late last year?

** EDIT: I've checked and I received an email for the kids advising them of their place on the waiting list on October 29th ,2020 **

"Dear ****,

The 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season was unlike any other season in history.

We witnessed games being played in empty stadiums, entire teams being relocated to other states and the fixture as we know it was turned on its head. In the face of change and uncertainty, the support and passion shown by you – our members – has been unwavering.

At this time, the impact (if any) that the coronavirus pandemic may have on the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season is not known.

Whilst we all sincerely hope that this year’s challenges will be behind us in 2021, if there is an interruption to the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season then we will again provide all match access members with a range of options to address any material reduction in the match access benefits of your membership.

This email is to inform you that your AFL Membership is set to automatically renew in monthly instalments through AFL Advance Easy Pay commencing on Monday, November 30, 2020.

You chose to convert your membership to Absentee in 2020 and selected to have the additional amount paid credited to your 2021 membership. This is noted below and has been factored into your 2021 Price.

Membership Number: ******

2021 Membership: Silver Junior ****** Club Support

I wonder if it means the club support priority will disappear.

Off the AFL members website

Will this priority system be in place for the whole season?

No, if capacity limitations are able to extend to 75% and above at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, the current expectation is that AFL Membership will revert back to no on-sale priority structure in line with previous seasons.

Does that include matches that go on sale in 1 minute though?

Certain Richmond club members with away access today got an email saying we can buy tickets in the AFL reserve tomorrow at 10am for $9
My kids received that (kids memberships include away game access) but there was no mention that it was in the AFL reserve.
But fun fact, MCC says their Richmond barcodes can be used in MCC from Wednesday so I wouldn't be surprised if they can be used in AFL Reserve. (Previous years I have been able to use kids' AFL memberships and their Richmond reserved seat barcodes to get an extra child seat in the AFL Reserve to bring a child guest, rather than pay for a guest pass. Same in MCC, but this time MCC is making you wait an extra 2 days.)

Richmond adult 3121 members have always been admitted access to the AFL reserve for away games.. but was doubtful they’d continue it this year with the COVID changes... but got the email yesterday that it was continuing.

How does that work? So for ANZAC Eve this year Richmond away members will get access to the AFL reserve? Do they get access before or after AFL Members get an opportunity to reserve tickets? Do they get access on level 1?

I honestly think that club support members should always get first crack at reserved seating regardless of whether capacity is 50% or 100%.
My mates and I missed out on tickets to the 2013 Elim final (Blues v Tigers) one of my mates got a ticket a couple of days out from a Bomber club support mate and then at the ground said he was mostly surrounded by more neutrals than Blues & tigers fans.

That is a great call and I agree. Even if it is just an hour access ahead of the rest of the AFL members.
