No dramas on Ticketmaster for Hawks v Bombers.
They started the queue about 9:30, I entered it at 9:33, took me into ticket purchase area at 10:02, scored a level 1 seat.

Was a bit worried because last lot of stats I saw there were about 10k Gold+Silver members between the 2 clubs with only 3k seats available and the AFL likely to siphon a few of those off for themselves as usual. Below is the Gold(Full) and Silver table they released back in about 2012 which I've posted quite a few times in this thread over the years.

Are they limiting the AFL Members to the few bays on ground level wing at Docklands? Or is level 3 available as well?

I got 2 tickets for bombers hawks game. Said 121 people were a head of me, then a few seconds later straight through. No issues and cost was $0

Got tickets for Thursday night...very smooth. But surprise surprise, a $3.15 service fee.

cheaper than the usual reserved seat fee

I got mine through the app this morning then got a text this arvo which linked me back to the app to see my tickets but they’re not there.

I would have thought not. Felt a lot more confident as a club support than I would have going for my club general membership allocation.

Richmond Carlton only sold out close to 11 and it was very easy to login anytime after about 10:20 without queing. So if you really wanted a ticket you shouldn't have missed. I guess maybe if wanted several seats together would be the only reason.

Well that's weird cos people on facebook AFL Membership page definitely complaining they missed out after being logged in just after 10am. Only thing I can think is if people had multiple devices going with tickets in the basket and it didn't clear so the seats came up as unavailable and then later became available.

I was to busy to sit around and wait for the 10am release, started trying @ 12 was unsuccessful club said wait until 1 tried then no luck.
they are that hungry for money that the system changes over to ga very quickly and your membership barcode is invalid.
If this is how members are treated after donating last year clubs and the afl will be in deep shit next year because fans will be fed up with this crap.

On principle I didn’t buy it and have emailed the club to cancel my membership and ask for a full reimbursement.

Only thing I can think is if people had multiple devices going with tickets in the basket and it didn't clear so the seats came up as unavailable and then later became available.

I also think some people aren't patient enough.

It comes up with 'sorry no tickets match that description' maybe 4 or 5 times for each time it actually spits out some tickets to you. If someone tries twice and gets that and wonders off then that may be what has happened.

Be thankful you don't support the Tigers, Pies, Hawks, Bombers... you'd be no chance of getting a ticket. If tickets went on sale at 10am and you were a couple hours behind then it's probably on you and not the system as a whole. Sorry!

You probably saw the booking fee because you were trying to purchase in GA as opposed to the AFL Members area which had likely sold out via those who were online when tickets went on sale.

But I buy a membership so I don’t have to jump through flaming hoops and wait on my phone at my expense to get a ticket that was paid for in November.
The could be worse defence doesn’t invalidate what’s happen in my circumstance.
It’s shit for everyone and I think they’ll feel it next year.

AFL Member or Freo Member? I can't imagine the AFL Members would have sold out for the Melb/Freo game
