Based on the email from AFL membership today, doesn’t look like club support gets any priority access to the prelim. Tad annoying.

Gold may get priority seating over silver though which is annoying when your family has some gold some silver members.

Yes I did, bizarrely couldn’t cross over back into the members after the game as “traffic” was flowing the other way

Why would they?
There will be no issue getting tickets for the Geelong Prelim anyway.

To give club support access to the better seats, can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t do this for every prelim

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it but usually at this time of year its little humorous seeing some of the posts on here regarding access to ticket(s) and how unfair it is that AFL gold members have priority access.

I think you might be right. Perhaps initially it was no guest passes which is all silver can get. As a silver I chose to go general public which was cheaper.

Only AFL members with club support are eligible, and thats bundled in with the member pre-sale. There is no AFL Members sale.

From memory it is the Sunday morning after the prelim. It’s only a few hours before it is open up further

Yep but the original email from last week said silver may be limited to where they could sit. If it was Geel/Melb instead of Geel/Bris it may have been different.
