Doesn't mean a great deal really, Paul Licuria won our b&f in 2002 when we finished a couple of kicks away from a premiership, he was nowhere near the elite of the competition when he did so. Just a good team man and very solid contributor.

You idiot, Brisbane haven't had a good crumber since Craig McRae.We arnt talking about what he can do, were are saying he is not better than some of these blokes named under him. He's better than Varcoe and Byrnes so in for Geelong.
Could play the flank at StKilda as if he's not better than McQualter.
Collingwood is the only side in the comp where he'd be competing against Didak, Davis and Med but Im sure hed still get a gig over Daisy.
You're comparing Watson to Licuria? I would've compared Watson more to Swan - but still different.

lol, Swan is a goal kicking midfielder who runs all day.
Watson is more along the lines of McGough. Battler who gets a few clearances and that is about it.
Seriously, what midfielder doesn't run all day? Pretty sure Swan is benched more than any player in the league.
Swan averaged just over .7 goals a game in '09 to Watson's just under .5 goals a game in '09, Swan kicked 3 on the weekend, Jobe kicked 2 on the league's best tagger.
Swan is overrated, Watson is underrated.

You missed my point. I just said your analogy that Watson won the B&F in a team that was 'better than half of the competition' (and still had a losing record in 2009, I might add) was largely irrelevant in regards to these kinds of lists.
And seriously, if you think Watson is close to Swan as a footballer you're seriously mistaken... Swan is just outside the absolute elite of the league, Watson is nowhere near that IMO.
There is no better midfielder playing than Swan at the moment.

Brisbane don't need a crumber, there style is crash and bash with thoes big bodies in there. He is not better than Stokes. McQualter is better than Rioli, I think he is one of the most under rated players in the league. Pies dont need him they have enough x-factor.

Gibbs is the one who plays for Carlton, Rioli is the Hawthorn player. Your post sounds somewhat better if you switch them around.
