Robertson is contracted. And if he’s as valuable as folks on this board seem to think, why wouldn’t we pay a fair price for him?

Part of what's appealing is that he could/should come cheap since he's surplus to Brisbane's needs. He's also not looked at as a prospective star but someone who has particular attributes that the list lacks.

I would probably steer clear of the asking price of Robertson and instead enquire about Ely Smith who has put up good numbers at VFL level but not got a chance at AFL level.

Ely Smith has dodgy hammies and we're not in a position to fix them
