Calamvale v Griffith - Calamvale shoudl win this in both grade

Coomera v redcliffe - in the 1's id say Redcliffe at this stage but it depends who shows up from either side. and in teh twos againa close game both good twos sides

UQ v Ippy - Ipswich after back to back againest logan and beeneligh shoudl get a win int eh 1s but ill go with UQ in the twos

Games of teh round: Logan v Nambour - Logan in a close one in the 1's and to flatten Nambour 2s

HAHAHAHA what????? Cluffy has never played in our ressies and I doubt he ever will. We have a strong commitment to not dropping seniors into the ressies just to win games. We believe burning your players who have been there all year is not the right way to do things. I know nearly every club does it but not us.

During the second quater a player count was requested by us and as it turned out Calamvale had 19 players on the field. I dont know exactly how long he was on for but it wasn't like he just came on, he would have been on for 5-10 mins. The extra player tried sneaking off but the umps told him to come back on for the count. Their score was 7.5.47, so that will surely be wiped out by the league. Bad news Watto, I think Flowers had 3 or 4 by then and I don't know if they still count if the score is wiped.

I'm new to GM this year, but from what I've heard he wasn't wanted due to his attitude and constant yellow cards, but thats just what I've heard.

Thought I would watch the top of the table clash at Logan today. A very good crowd in attendance must have been 150 plus. I don't know why Munga ( the seagull with pointy elbows) thought the Logan boys only pull agood crowd when the Boofs are playing them. I'm not sure the Buffs are over the line in the Grand final as someone else suggested.
This game had it all. Actually it was almost identical to the Cobras v Boofs game a few weeks ago. Nambour flew out of the blocks and got way ahed early. And might I say- looked better than the home team.The Cobras pulled back to within 8 at quarter time trailing . 5-2 to 4-0 straight. Second qtr saw the Cobras choker hold applied, Nambour only added apoint Trailing 5-3 to 6-3. God that Cobras defense is stingy, Nambour had talent in the forward line but manage 2 goals from 2 shots in the third. Trailing 8-6 to 7-3. last quarter was similar. The northerners finished with 9-4, going down by 17 points, not very flash after kicking 5 goals in the first 20 minutes. Simalar to The Boofs v Cobs? Buoofs had 5 inside 15 minutes and managed 10 for the game.
I am impressed with the Cobras ability to wear down the opposition. The midfield are excellent, the Backs are very methodicall and no fuss. And the forwardv line put enough past you to kick a winning score. Well coached as well. One excellent positional change turned the game around.
Bring on the finals.

Pretty much spot on there RB. Couldnt have summed it up better myself. Except I thought crock said it was due to 8 red cards (not yellow) in 13 games?


Basically, stayed around 1 yr too late after all the decent players left to other clubs after being fed up with the direction the club was in and heading. In this 1 yr too late Moorooka dropped down to div3 and only had one side which consisted of 5-8 over 35 yr old's helping out, its no wonder a player like me would get frustrated playing in a team like that getting belted by 20 goals each week. Even though they have merged now they are still woeful, wont change until the management does.

Take that back to your sources of information and I await the reply.

7 minus 3 or 4 due to them having 19 on the field for a quater and a half. I rate Graham from Beenleigh as a better forward, simply because he can take a pack mark. As soon as you cut his lead off, he does nothing. One of his goals was pretty good, kicked it from the middle on the run with the wind and it bounced 3 or 4 times and went through, so that was good. But that's just my opinion.

hey rb1723, i heard it was for the whole first and until they were caught 15 mins into the second quarter, my mate says they have done it a couple of times and got away with it because they dont line up in traditional possies and no one counts. you gotta ask yourselves doesn't a coach look at his bench and say where is my fourth reserve, you gotta ask yourself dont the other three players on the bench ask where is the fourth, and you have to ask yourself, when a player is caught trying to sneek off after a head count is called how a club can ever hold their head high in the company of respected clubs ever again.
and to compound everything they gave 4 numbers to the interchage bench at the begining of the quarters. outright cheating #@#&*s , and watto wonders why i left.

That's what I thought too, they had 19 for the first and 10 minutes into the second before one of their spectators apparently told us that there was 19, then news made its way to our capt and he asked for a count. I still think the bloke trying to sneak off was funny. But our coach looks in the box to see who will go on for the bloke coming off, so how they wouldn't have notcied that there was only 3 on their bench escapes me.

RB, I dont want to ask you age or actual football knowledge but, as stated before you should consider the following. (and I know I have said this before and excuse me for repeating). Look at where the buffs (boofs accroding bananabenda lol) are on the ladder compared to the leopards. The Buffs are undoubtedly a better side than the leopards with more wins on the board, so why doesnt Graham lead on the leaderboard?

Imagine if Flower had the mung-train and buffs number 3 & 7 delivering ball to the express train steaming out from the goalsquare....

It is such a shame that the club is spoken about in this light... The club has assisted where possible every player who comes through the club... I am not sure id this is you Kenny because if it is, it would be strange for you to say that about our club happydaze when you came to the past players reunion a couple of weeks ago and didn't go to watch your new club... Mmmm...

In regards to the 19 players, we DO NOT and have never deliberately put 19 players on the ground. If you are going to call us cheats happydaze, say it straight and we will go from there... Be careful what you say on-line as once published always published...

Given that I wasn't playing, I coached the first quarter... We had 5 senior players play the 2's and another 3 ressies players who helped out, given this, we started with 3 on the bench and interchange had 3 numbers (get ur facts right)... At some stage the 4th reserves player came down after qtr time and was put on the ground before the count as we were sure we only had three reserves still... My understanding is that the rule of back to 0 was removed about 3 yrs ago.... Hence why try were given a kick in the middle and a 50.... So glad I could clear that up for anyone concerned...

Otherwise, some solid results for everyone who was in the hunt.. Coomera and redcliffe all tied up for 5th...

Hey BB I was at another game - should have gone to this one though. How did Spring(Nambour) go? I bet the big blonde Nambour ruckman went OK. Was Possums first game in 6 weeks serviceable? Did #5 (captain) from Logan "Hopoate" (ass finger) any one again?, his reputation is growing in this regard. I bet #7 from Logan killed them - he is very good and too good for this level. #15 from Logan is very underatted I believe, your thoughts on his game?
