265 from 3, but have the worry of Prespakis, into rank 43 but fully expecting that to blow out substantially
I'm out to 38, so we're neighbours. I'm not sure what to expect regarding rank this week. I reckon a lot of the people up the top will have had a lot of DGWs in previous weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if 5 DGWs is par for the week. I'm hoping anyway.

Geelong won't see themselves as out of it. They're on 6 points and can get another 20. 24 could be enough to make it. Georgie only misses the next one if she's properly injured.

And Thorne dropped an easy chest mark, so Lowther will probably delist her during the week. Still the best D5 I've had all year.

Lowther is going to be coaching for his job from here on out, if she's able to hobble around, he'll play her.

At least, that's what I'm telling myself.

Learnt a lot (or enough) from starting Georgie P last year that I didn't want her this year. Just lacks that ceiling.
Throw in her rough start this year and it was a valid choice to avoid.
Still, DGW and her B.E and I went there this week.
If she can score 80+ again next week I'll take it.

Strom was perfect, had to Captain a mid though but still not sure who will get the C,
Rowbottom or Gardiner.

I didn't have her last year and I didn't really want her for the DGW, due to the injury concern, but she was all I could afford amongst the mids. In hindsight, should've focused on Strom rather than the mids.

I'd probably go McCarthy because she tackles more, but it's a coin flip call that could go either way, depending on the day.

I'm in a similar spot RE: Gardiner. I could trade down players to get enough to take Conti up, it just makes way more sense not to, especially with Georgie that cheap. At least I get her second score on Bolter if she goes large. I just hate not having Loz in my team. Were it not for these DGWs, I'd never have traded her.
I should have taken your advice lol and got Ash in.

In that case have gone with West considering she has a pretty friendly matchup tonight..... similar style of player to McCarthy, tackling machine.

My reason for preferring tacklers is they're more likely to be the hunter than the hunted. Even Noffy rarely gets tagged. Players who get tagged have lower floors and, for a one week play, even if it's two games, I'd prefer to avoid taggers.

That said, Hatchard is still my main target for next week (despite tag risk), but she's more of a high ceiling low floor type. One upside with her is that, since it's going to be the last week of DGWs, if she tanks in value, you can just hold her for the rest of the year. I can't do that with Georgie, unfortunately. She's gone next week, one way or another.

I don't mind West as a one week play, as long as you're not expecting 130s. She'll hold that score through both games, which should make the BEs more achievable and help with next week.

Yeah it’s mostly a one week play, she’ll have a lot of money on her head so it’s an easy swap next week. With the Campbell news, it meant I had to hold Goody, so she’s a downgrade+ Georgie upgrade+ West swap may be the play next week.

Parker, Lambert and maybe Hatchy the only realistic DGWs mids to go with next week. Would leave me with six which is the amount I have this week
