It's a real bad season to be one of the top players, apparently. Stars going down left, right and centre at the moment. And we're only a week into the crazyness of DGW's.
Yeh, and I was just looking ahead to next week wondering if I should grab an extra GC/Ess/Syd player as things are looking a bit grim with only Rowbottom and Kemp in my side.

Trades are locked in for me
Anderson/Drennan/Davey out for Garner/McKay/Tarni Brown, Goody back on field. Brown's low BE makes her a nice option considering the double. Briefly considered passing on both Jazzy and Riddell but it was too risky.
So means I have six players with the double (Finn, Garner (C), McKay, Goody, Tripodi, Brown)
$405k in the bank for next week, can go Breed down and upgrade Goody next week with a straight swap. Went down a mid premo but was forced due to the Pauga/Davey mess. The extra cash may help if there's more BS to deal with.

Pretty locked in on Anderson/JHosking/Puaga -> King/Lavey/Pope. YOLO'ing the DGW once again.
Gives me Lavey, Finn, Conti, King, Goody, Brennan, Pope with Window on the bench.

Bit of a balance is my guess, do the premium shuffle but try to improve the team at the same time.I am wondering whether its more worhtwhile trading premiums in and out based on their double game round or if i do what im currently planning and chasing the cash with the aim of having a much better team after the double games.
Its a case of points now vs points later i think. Not sure whether my strategy is best
I brought in Drennan last week as an upgrade on Breed to give me 5 premo mids and shuffled a couple of others for cash gen. This week I have to get Pauga off the field so will upgrade Window > Shierlaw, who will go to O'Sullivan or Friswell next week to complete the forwards as well as bring in Garner and Riddell as part of the premo shuffle.
at least she can't drop another 100k, but I would still have to trade her or my F6 since both aren't playing.
Can't afford both Riddell and Garner, so will just get Garner, since she's cheaper and I'm strapped for cash. Can't get O'Loughlin either cos she went up and Hodder dropped even more.

I've tweaked mine slightly after looking more closely at the fixture, with two DGW mids this week I can grab a Sydney F5 in for Puaga for the Dogs game and hold till next week, i'll look at breakevens but either Davies or RSW.

Very seriously thinking about trading Noffy out, I don't think that her price is sustainable and could drop a fair bit of cash with the Lions matchup, losing her would give me a 'premo' at F5 with a DGW. Of course if she holds her price then I'd just about have to blow the team up to get her back in for rnd 7, if she didn't have that double coming up then I reckon I'd pull the trigger.

Is Duursma playing?
This is my team pre-trades, ranked 2,182nd. Scored 1,565 from 6 DGW players. Pretty annoying.
Davey getting concussed in her DGW didn't help, likewise Hosking being out for her 2nd game, so virtually lost 2 extra score. But worse than that was having to gobble up Pauga's 4. Probably a blessing she is suspended, as I can hold her if need be and know she won't lose coin... this week at least!
Would love to hear thoughts on what moves I should make this week. $364k in the bank.
Am thinking of going Ando -> Garner, and then punting Davey to a DGW - but who? Sheerin? Kearney? Someone else?
If I go for Sheerin/Kearney I can then use Hosking to grab a replacement for Pauga (and bench her) or keep Hosking in the UTILITY position (low 39 BE) and trade Pauga. But she isn't worth much at $387k to try and nab anyone decent apart from a potential cashcow, so leaning towards punting Hosk anyway.
Am leaning towards Hosking -> Kearney or Sheerin, Davey -> Tarni Brown (ticks box as a nice cashcow on a DGW) and bank the extra $300-400k for next week. This is what my team would look like below with 8 DGW players.

Fiedler scoring well means taking the risk on cashing in O'Dowd. Downside is I'm only left with 8k in the cap. Also only have 2 double game players this week so probably no maximising that enough.
