Don't know what it looked like on TV. In person it was obvious GC came with a plan to scrag, slap, punch, and make it an absolute slogfest.

West almost pushed over the edge in the last due to their tactics.

Thought it was actually a good win as a result. We have not been forced to play ugly footy this year

Websters press alluded to the conditions both natural and pressure from Gold Coast, scrappy and fumblingly but loved the hardness of our girls at the contest. Could not buy a kind bounce or a mark due to wind and pressure. Take the 4 points and move on. Sounds like a good bloke with a wise head on his shoulders. Well liked by all accounts.

Quite possibly the worst game they've played this season? Adelaide at least they showed late fight after being outclassed. This was a pure scrap. They held Bates well and that 2Q was all Hawks yet only 1 goal so credit to GCS gameplan, definitely not your normal bottom side.

Hawks got the win which was important and getting to 5 wins already is so important so congrats to them.

Are all games at "home", going to be like Carlton and this game? Being so wind affected will get old fast once novelty wears off.

Carlton game we kicked 10 goals and won by 7 goals...

Last night was GC implementing a gameplan to avoid a blow out
