Last few Weeks we not been playing 4 Qtrs so Hopefully this is the Kick up the Ass they Need to play 4 Qrts IF they want to win the Flag

Disappointing composure from Shevlin twice at the end.

Brisbane very much deserving winners, but the girls had a crack until the final siren so that’s all you can ask. Not the desired result, but nice to be competitive against a premiership worthy side and know we can match it with some of those hardened sides that have been around the top since the inception of the league.

I definitely do. Would rather get exposed when you can come back next week and rectify it, than finding out in a final about a weakness you didn’t know you had and ending the season on that note

Livingston had a mare today with her kicking, she’s usually the best in the team. No outside run and too much bombing long. Mind you the pressure didn’t allow us to switch and play the possession game. Hoping Ash Brazal is fit and ready to go next week, she’ll be needed.

We seem to only play one good quarter every game.

Two key players off with injuries - Allen (ankle) and Butler (hamstring) didn't help.

Still not a fan of Alexander, key misses for goal.

I think her idea was right. Get the ball in as quick as possible before Brisbane had a chance to flood back. The only problem was that there was no Pies player running hard ahead of the ball to get there.

Nobody to blame but ourselves. We had a few chances to win that in the last quarter, especially Shevlin. Chloe missed one too.

Felt like we were off for most of the day. Good fight back though, but cant expect to bring that and win.

On the positive side, we played one half and almost stole it.

I think her idea was right. Get the ball in as quick as possible before Brisbane had a chance to flood back. The only problem was that there was no Pies player running hard ahead of the ball to get there.

Oh I definitely understand the thinking and the need for territory, especially in women’s footy and when kicking with the wind. She probably would have been full of adrenaline in that moment too.
In hindsight though there was enough time left to not need to blaze away. We could have kept our cool a little bit more with finding that last goal that we needed.
