Almost every other side I’ve seen have bigger marking players. I only saw the last 1/4 but the Dogs had several who marked strongly overhead. We just can’t seem to fine/draft them.Must say Some of the kicking in that 1/4 reeked of season 1. They certainly had a dip though.

Season over. Just too many players that can't kick or mark. Catch ya later Trent.

Start the tank and get ready to draft some youngsters next year.
Yep skills is what cost this game effort is there, useless if you can’t finish off even when this team was competing in finals the skill level was what was stopping them going that next step.

All teams have their skills issues, it's the nature of this competition as it stands. The decision making is something we can improve almost immediately.

On that score, being more assertive at the contest would have made a difference today. Particularly at some of those marking contests. When Cooper came on board the assertiveness at the contest/ball was something that improved out of sight. We need to get back to that.

Personnel is another key factor. It is really frustrating that the AFL has just allowed teams to be stripped of their best players with zero comeback.
