To be fair to authorities they had to wait until Jones was no longer representing the interests of the Liberal Party and not making someone else rich anymore.
Now he is well past his best before date they are finally happy to throw him to the wolves.

Right wing media are staying very quiet. Not a single mention at all on the Sky FB page. I wonder if they’ve been briefed the charges are likely to result in a guilty verdict therefore keep your mouths shut this time, as opposed to Pell when they cried to high heavens.
