If Essendon do sack Rutten and he delays a decision with us, then that speaks volumes.

As heartbreaking as it would be, this club doesn’t deserve to be anyone’s sloppy seconds.

The narrative of Clarkson wanting a stable club doesn’t fit Essendon anyway. If anything it sounds like he would be waking into a shitshow. The advantage we have is that we have had time to try and get our house in order.

Edit: Sorry you deserve a better reply. I'm bitterly disappointed we've sacked Truck.

We finally commit to a rebuilding, new coach, young playing list and what seems like a genuinely good culture between the playing group and coaching staff and rather than fight through tough times we pull up stumps.

Richmond and Melbourne both showed faith in their young coaches when everyone wanted them gone and look what a rebuild did for both of them. We are weak as piss.
