Daniel and Parker will be among our 10 best players come round one.

Exciting stuff.
Don’t know if there is some sarcasm there, but that would be kind of a sad state for our playing list if that eventuates.

First time hearing Daniel speak and close up without the helmet... so does he have a ride this Tuesday?

Anyways I’m exited about calling him mini x next year.

Nah man, they’re demonstratively good players

Interesting question raised by one of the journalists re amount of players leaving.
Far as lm concerned there’s one constant…..bevo.
Glad to have Caleb here..and boy does he have an axe to grind with the previous coaches…wonderful.
Could be one of the best acquisitions to land at the club.
I’m excited and can’t wait for him to crack in…

I recall sleevo saying words to the same effect, proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Having said that Daniel has always been a compeitive beast. Cant see that changing.

Agree…and l bet he’s going to be hell bent driven on dragging some of our youngsters with him.
Be bloody funny if we win silverware in a few years time and he gets to give bevo the biggest send off.

Interesting take from that interview was when he said Clarko wanted to get him in to bring experience & help lift the youngsters to the required level.
Not a great endorsement of what Simpkin, McDonald in particular have done over the last few years.

Clarko doesn’t rate them and neither should anyone else. They’re both shit and should be fringe players at best.

I wasn’t that keen to get Caleb across to our Club. But the way he speaks the footage I have seen of him and his lauded leadership could just be what the Dr ordered . Everyone is a champion this time of yr but if Big Al can get the best out of him I think he will help us quite a bit.

Good luck to Caleb, wish him all the best with the Roos.

His game had changed under Bevo's masterplan (whatever the ** that was) & like a few other players were constantly played out of position.

He was pretty good on the forward line as a small defensive forward, would like to see him given a chance to find that form again. Why Bevo thought he was better used as a kickout from the backline is anyone's guess.
small defensive forward you say,
its almost like the biggest gapping whole we have in the list he played he's best footy at.
Come on Clarko, you know it makes sense..

that best 22 listed doesnt seem half bad
Agreed, but I think its a defender short, and they've got like 7 inside mids.

Add Goater or Hardeman, push Kerch up to the wing, omit one of the inside mids, and I think its just about right.

Also Fisher's a bit unlucky to lose a spot to Konstanty right off the bat.

My kid's teacher is the partner of one of the Senior Western Bulldogs players (not naming as don't want to dox).

Anyway was talking to her this morning and she said that above all else, Caleb is a really really great person and was well loved by all his team-mates. Just an absolute professional and someone who works hard to make his team-mates better.

Good feedback to hear from someone who would know.

Caleb answered questions really well, not sure he so much has an axe to grind as really believing in his own ability.

I'll hold on the Beveridge Schadenfreude since they've won a flag, reached a grand final and routinely flogged us during a period where our biggest achievement was beating Collingwood in a 6 quarter scratch match.
