Add to this that I've been really impressed with McVeigh's coaching moves and pressers. Himmelberg in the backline absolutely murdered us, for example. I reckon people at Essendon would've noticed it too. It makes logical sense, the only hitch being that he isn't experienced in a senior role. Ah well, I guess speculation is pointless now and we just have to hope the deal has gone though. Back to hyperventilating into the brown paper bag it is for me

I think there is more to this.

I’m not sure you sack a coach on the spur of the moment without a clear plan going forward.
