And I just want to say that I have so much friggin respect for Sonya; the person she is, the integrity she clearly upholds at all times, the passion she has for our club and the fearlessness she's shown throughout this entire process that I'm already calling her a legend of the club.

We've all got our positive Sonya stories. I've chatted with her a couple of times, the first time out at Arden St. at a pre-season game this year just a few weeks before she took over from Buckley as president. I was standing in the area partitioned off for the player's parents (I'm not one of them). While speaking with her (not knowing who she was) I apologised in a sense saying that I wasn't anyone important. Just a passionate North supporter. She said to me she was exactly the same. I found out about 30 minutes later I'd been speaking to our next president.

One of the most unpretentious, approachable, infectious, respectful and passionate smart operators you could ever hope to find. We're very lucky to have her. Without her I'm 100% confident we wouldn't have landed Clarko.

I shit you not I had a plate of steamed dimmies washed down with a boags as I watched the presser.

My biggest takeaway from the presser is that he was NEVER remotely considering * and only took their call so they wouldn't feel like the losers that they are.

Unsavoury and responded out of respect and obligation of people he knows there but was clearly never entering that situation.

She has had such a steep intro to the deep end and has freestyled like the Thorpedo.

If you had've told 9 year old me WAY back in 1993 that Clarko will be a 4 time premiership coach (elsewhere) - be possibly the greatest coach of all, and that he will be coaching us. I wouldnt have believed you.

There was an earlier quip (I think by tazaa ) about how this was like listening to a presidential address.
I'm fully aware that I'm getting carried away in the moment here, but quite honestly, there were some oratorial qualities in what just happened that reminded me of Obama.

I waited and waited and waited for 3 weeks riding this absolute roller-coaster of emotion scouring bigfooty for any shred of hope. I'm not ashamed to say any dignity I had was put to the side. What I have now though, hooly dooly, the confidence it's a parmi, the perfect dim sim recipe, the best way to cook rice, the ability to laugh at *scum, absolute respect for Sonja, a crush on KIA34 and the absolute pride in our club for what they've been able to achieve which flies in the face of everything other supporters say about us.
