Yip I can see Clarko putting an arm around those who need a hug and a kick up the backside of those who deserve it.

It’s the credibility he brings. Noble says the same thing and no one cares. Clarko says it and everyone is all in.

I’ve been thinking the same. Yes he speaks very well but it’s the fact he’s been there and done it that makes it priceless. That’s what commands respect and makes everyone listen.

Noble saying the same thing would not have hit the spot.

The world spends too much time blowing smoke up people's a$$, this laying out of what it will look like if we want to succeed and what will happen if you're not doing your part is something we need more of.

At my employer, we ask employees every quarter if they are happy and if the manager does everything they want, then we hammer the managers if people aren't 100% happy. This has resulted in a boat load of entitled employees who think the world owes them. Would love to see this at where I work, unfortunately they would sack the manager who said it.

Bringing it back to the club, we have had a plethora of coaches who are great smoke blowers (ever since Laidley really) which is also why we haven't achieved anything.

It's way too early to name names and in fairness to the players they have a year (or so) to prove to Clarko that they can become a player which he thinks is capable of delivering a Premiership. Trade period for the next couple of years is going to be interesting as we cull a few players who aren't quite up to it and chase those who are. Exciting times ahead.

little bit different to how they go about it here,

we have a annual "voluntarily" engagement servey where your line manager coerces you to do it so he is seen to have an "engaged" workgroup. then some very dumbed down results are comminicated back a few months later, nothing is followed up and we do it all again in another 12 months......
