The other argument being 3 years out is Wil Parker. He would be playing this week for Noble if not injured and he looks a player I am not sure much has been lost with his development as I dont think much will be lost with Condon's development.
Saying that I get the argument.
However I think certain players need the time. Will Sutherland could be a gun key position player but I think for him to succeed he would need that 2-3 years VFL game time.

Mr. Condon better be good because basketball, tennis and golf are the most boring sports to watch, although I do enjoy playing a round of golf or two

Golf is a nice walk ruined.
I remember being a young sports mad kid wanting to watch some NFL highlights after English Division 1 highlights on the ABC, and the ABC would show lawn bowls or golf.
Social bare foot lawn bowls in summer is ok.

I think it was barefoot bowls I played. Only played a few times but it is a bit addictive. I used to play 9 holes of golf most mornings before work back in the day. It was very addictive.
