Thanks.
Just to reinforce the media driven way the AA is picked... If the AA was announced after the brownlow, does anyone think Judd wouldnt be in it ?

When Did Hodge play Half back this year? Could you please tell me, watching every hawthorn game i must of missed it somehow
Enlighten me.
Chris Judd's brownlow win confirmed him the no.1 midfielder in the league.
should have elbowed someone in the face insteadHe went to the back flank a few times when the midfield tag got too much for him

Woewodin >>>> KoutoufidesAll Australian selectors have been totally embarrassed.

Not sure what games the selectors were watching but for mine and most others that follow the game he should have been first picked on the ground plus the captaincy.
Yep, the AA selectors got it wrong. Judd shouldn't have been in the team at all. This is making me laugh. How much did we hear from the Carlton fans prior to the medal telling us he would win it? Stuff all. The moment he wins, suddenly the board's ablaze telling us Judd was a worthy winner. Crap.
LMFAO I think you have the cart before the horse mate, whats been prooved is that the Brownlow is of little relevence other than showing who the Umps love and who is playing with enough spuds not to share votes around
The Brownlow is not the best judge of an MVP.
Swan, Ablett and Hodge all had better years in the midfield so correct decision was made.
Whose opinion on football are you more likely to listen to - Chris Judd or Ray Chamberlain? Point being that umpires opinion on B&F really is irrelevant...

Good to see Carlton supporters showing unprecedented reverence towards the Umpiring fraternity.
Spot on.
Midfield should have been Sandilands in the ruck, Judd ruck-rover, Ablett first rover with Swan in the centre. Pendelbury and Selwood on the wings with Hodge @ half back.
Disappointing year for the all australian selectors. Shown up badly by the umpires getting it right.
