I.E. Compare captain Gazza to captain Selwood. Both have left an imprint on their respective sides. One is a tough professional outfit. The other is feeble and can't do without it's superstar.

Buddy, there's this intangible called leadership that Selwood also possesses - an ability to lift his team when it's needed to get them over the line. He's done it his whole career.

No one's talking about dream team points. They are hardly seagulls if they put their bodies on the line time and time again to thwart attacks.

I don't give a frack if he's a 6x AA and 3x premiership player. I'm talking about this season only, in isolation.

And his season was elite again. Would bet you my last dollar that he will be top 3 in the B&F for the team that finished 2nd. He was amongst the best couple of small defenders this season.
