Who's giving those ratings? Red Symons?

Just for the sake of clarity, in the official reports, he's been named best on ground against West Coast, second best against Adelaide, third best against Gold Coast, fourth best against Port Adelaide and fifth best against Essendon and Brisbane. In other words, he's been in Geelong's best five players for the past six weeks (all comprehensive victories) and in Geelong's best three in the past three weeks. And someone's giving him fives and sixes for these performances?
I've gone over the ratings and his key stats for those games, SEN does not very often give 9s the scores he got were reasonable considering his role.
He might not though have any competition for the HFF atm anyway if Zorko is on the other and Franklin is not being suggested as HFF

B Shaw Frawley Gibson
Hb Morris Davis Enright
C Riewoldt (VC) Mitchell Ward
HF Zorko Waite Motlop
Ff Parker Buddy Lynch
R Gawn Selwood (C) Dangerfield

Int Tippett, Shiel, Ziebell, Bontempelli
Luke Parker is not a forward pocket

Luke Parker is not a forward pocket

It doesn't matter just chuck mids anywhere

Goldstein seems to get votes just for showing up. Interestingly, this week he got 3 from one coach and none from the other.

Where did you see that?

Goldy had 22 touches 35 hitouts and got 3 votes
Nic Nat had 12 touches and 33 hitouts and got 4 votes.

Who needs to just show up to get votes??

A quick attempt, I've just listed anyone else I could think of in the unlucky category.

Aim was to have a semi-realistic team, meaning 7 defenders.

I've probably missed a few.

FB: Shaw Davis Gibson
HB: Laird Rance Pittard
C: Reiwoldt Selwood Hannebery
HF: Parker Lynch Motlop
FF: Betts Waite Franklin

R: Gawn Dangerfield Viney

I: Stratton Mitchell Goldstein Ziebell

Close: Sloane Ziebell Hunter Rioli Zaharakis Zorko Montagna McGovern Naitanui Gibbs Sloane Ablett Rampe Dahlhaus Hall Smith Ward Bontempelli Merrett

You have named JZ on the bench and in the close list. Davis and Laird will be lucky to hold their spot if out for a few more weeks.

Shuey is now equal with ziebell on votes. Thoughts?

Terrible footballer - he must be a Simpson favourite :drunk::drunk::drunk:

Not 1 vote away from the safety of WA.
Actually he usually gets robbed of votes should have gotten 10 against Richmond which would put him in the top ten. Ziebell hasn't gotten a single vote in a loss, awful player.

Not sure how you have Ward & Parker over Mitchell, Parkers last 2 weeks have been putrid.
I'm sure Parker will bounce back this week though.
Grundy? Seriously? Who has he played on and beaten?
Wait, wait...Parker's last two weeks have been putrid? Check Mitchell's past month:

R5 v Adelaide: 31 disposals, only 7 contested, went at a mere 67% efficiency including 7 clangers.
R6 v GWS: 26 disposals, ZERO tackles, 7 contested, going at only 65%.
R7 v Richmond: Did not show up
R8 v Freo: 26 disposals, better at 80% but 5 clangers and 5 frees against.
