Re: Nominate your possible AA's from your team..

Carrazzo has had a ripper season, but very unlikely given the plethora of other mids in better sides to choose from.

Fev is probably our only realistic chance - if he can continue his current form for the next month and sneak the Coleman, then he'd have to be in contention. Only 4 behind the leader, despite missing a game.

Realistically we aren't going to have more than 4 or maybe 5 (hope I'm wrong). I'll go with Scarlett, Ablett, Bartel and Milburn.

Mooney? I'd give him an outside chance at CHF.

Who in their right mind would rather have Ling than Mitchell?

I mean, really... This is supposed to be about picking the BEST team of 2007.

Ling has been good this season. If we were picking the All Australian B team, he might get in.
He'd almost be the captain of the All Australian C team.

But come on guys, this is supposed to be the best 22.

Imagine you're picking a team to represent Australia at an imaginary footy World Cup.
You should at least have one tagger in the team, so why not the best.

Exactly the reason I would pick Ling. I think he has had a better year then Mitchell. My opinion being unbiased unlike your opinion.
Nothing to do with bias.

There are a dozen midfielders I'd prefer to have in my side than Cameron Ling

There is no condition that the A/A team must have one tagger.

The only time they should consider a tagger is if he has an outstanding season: best and fairest, etc
Ling has been very good, but not that great.

Foley's game tonight certainly did him no harm. Best on ground by a long way IMO. Will they pick a midfielder from a side that has only won 2 1/2 games though? Especially when there has been some fair performances from some pretty taslented midfielders for Geelong and West Coast.
