Darcy, Ling, Ricciuto, Frawley, Jakovich, Bartlett and Frawley have failed to do the job properly.
How could they leave Gibson and Fyfe out of last year's team? What games were they watching?
I think it's time for a new selection panel to restore the credibility of the award
No, my idols are Hodgey, Cyril and RoughieWell you are actually.

Again as I said not every good player is going to make it. Obviously the AA selectors thought there were others that were more worthy than Mitchell and fyfe, you disagree with them and that is fine, but to claim "no one respects the AA team anymore" etc just coz you are annoyed that Mitchell didn't make it is just immature and stupid. No, my idols are Hodgey, Cyril and Roughie
Simply pointing out the idiocy of the AA selectors and backing it up with evidence.
Interesting to see you ignored the point of my previous post and had a go at me instead.
It's not just me, mate. I don't know a single Hawthorn fan who has a shred of respect for the All Australian team anymore. That's not "annoyance" or "sour grapes". Just a simple fact. It's what happens when your team dominates for two seasons and they leave out your two best players in those years. I was steamed up about it. Other Hawk fans just laughed and said "Who cares about All Australian team? It's a joke. The selectors are idiots."Again as I said not every good player is going to make it. Obviously the AA selectors thought there were others that were more worthy than Mitchell and fyfe, you disagree with them and that is fine, but to claim "no one respects the AA team anymore" etc just coz you are annoyed that Mitchell didn't make it is just immature and stupid.
Bartels a lock.
HBF or HFF
Heres one from left field that will get howled down but I think people might find it interesting.
Neville Jetta from Melbourne.
Played the opening stint of the season in the VFL, but look at his form since he got back.
ok so how about Lynden Dunn the Melbourne defender?OK, that's it. No Lynden Dunne, no All Australian team in 2014. Period.
Grey, Breust and Elliot are getting a lot of noise.
Robbie Gray is pretty much a consensus AA pick atm averaging 24 touches a game and kicking 21 goals so far.
Boomer is averaging 26 touches a game and has kicked 17.
I'd say Boomer is definitely in the conversation.
If he ends up kicking 35+ for the season with that amount of disposals, he'd almost get in the midfield.

Eddie Betts: 8 disposals, 0 goals
Luke Dalhouse: Goalless (did have 22 disposals)
Chad Wingard: 5 disposals to half time before he was subbed off
Jaime Elliot: 9 disposals and 1 goal
Paul Chapman: 18 disposals and 1 goal
Not a bad little resume there, with Wingard and Elliot being talked up as AA forward pockets, Jetta dominated them both.
Sam Jacobs would be close. For some reason not getting as much love as Lobbe or Sandilands but has been just as good. Best around the ground ruckman this year imo. From the Crows - only Smith and Talia would be in contention at this stage.
What? A lot????????????Gray has been a lot better than harvey this year.
What? A lot????????????
Both play on ball drifting forward so the important stats are below
Possies I50 GA Tackles Goals Eff Dis
Harvey 25.5 4.5 .5 3.6 17 77%
Gray 24.4 3.2 1.3 2.6 21 71%
Please show me where a lot is?
