He had a great game. But it wasn't as good as a few of the other ones he played earlier in the season.
Stop digging yourself a deeper hole. It was clearly Pendlebury's best game of the season.

Or does he automatically play amazingly every week without any deviation because he is Scott Pendlebury?
Definitely. I moved the team around a bit after I posted it so he got unbolded (is that a word?) by mistake. Top 4 players in the comp this year imo. Could make a case for no.1.Surely Pendles is a lock, hes had a better year than Thomas/Selwood and probably on par with Murphy

i havent heard much of him to be honest, i thought it had been dropped for half of the season so far. i could name more players from collingwood then him that will be pushing for it. just my opinion thou

There is no way Leon or Reid will make it. No way.
Cloke however, I think will. Been the second best KP forward with Kennedy behind Franklin this year.
Mitchell had another solid game. But is his lack of offensive flare going to cost him? People don't seem to appreciate how good he is in packs...

Got a little bit excited last week putting Merrett in for McParlin. Fixed that error this week.
Yeah it will cost him, it has his whole career. Criminally underrated.
I will go as far as saying he is as good as Luke Hodge, who has been widely regarded as a Top 5/Top 10 player for the best part of 6 years.
Gets 30+ touches, lots of contested ball, in the top few for clearances in the league so far this year, and uses the ball very well on both feet in heavy traffic. It's a ****ing travesty he has never been AA in his career and players like Leon Davis & Cam Mooney have.
It's simply more competitive getting a spot as a midfielder, both Davis & Mooney were selected as forwards obviously.
It took until 2010 for Swan to be named as a midfielder in the AA team & he's consistently been one of the best midfielders in the league since 2008. Players like Judd, Ablett etc tend to have a mortgage on the midfielder spots and players like Mitchell can miss out as a result. I think he is definitely worth a spot this year though, he'd be in my side right about now.
you probably should take a bit more notice of reid too, very very good young defender.
