Why do they have to announce matches? The people that want to see AEW are doing it because it's maybe a once in a lifetime chance - it's not because they want to see Mox, but won't come if it's Jay White instead.

If you just going to spend $30-50 on a cheap seat you wouldn’t really care to much about who’s coming but if you’ve forked out thousands of dollars for seats and meet and greets you would want to know what talent you getting don’t you?

Would you pay 2k to go and watch any big sports teams come out here and play a game and bring the B or C team out and leave the stars at home?

No doubt those going are still going to get a good wrestling show but personally I feel there’s a massive difference in getting a good show and getting thousand dollar plus worth of value type show.

It's ridiculous to say.

Jarrett will get a title match in Memphis or Charlotte late in the year (that he'll lose), as a goodbye.

I like the Jarrett storyline. Never going to main event a PPV, but a nice storyline giving him one last title shot for a marquee match on a branded Dynamite or maybe the Brisbane show.

Even if you weren't expecting a PPV - which I think we all were when it was at a 50k stadium - we had the right to expect something at the level of previous Grand Slam specials. 6 weeks out and it doesn't even appear to be that.

You think people buy for WrestleMania because they know the card? How about Wembley All In? Of course they don't.

I should grow up? You're stuck in ancient history.

This is not territory days when you get a show at Midsouth Coliseum every Saturday night, and you'll go if Jerry Lawler has a hot feud.

This is today, where you might get wrestling in your city once or twice a year - or in our case, once in our lives - and you decide to go because you want the live experience.

They could announce the line-up tomorrow for Grand Slam, and it wouldn't matter at all for sales. It wouldn't do a damn thing.

I'm pretty comfortable we'll get a fantastic lineup, because AEW has an incredibly strong roster and Tony ALWAYS books PPVs and special events well.

I never assumed this was going to be a PPV due to the time difference, and just hoped it wasn't going to be like the WWE Perth event, with four matches and B level talent.

AEW delivers incredibly hot live events, and there's a massive amount of talent available to them. I just don't see any reason to assume it's going to be an episode of Rampage.

If it IS that, I'll shit on it like everyone. But he's always delivered on big events.

I've been getting the AEW Crate for nearly 2 years (and PW Crate for a bit of that time as well), and I don't have a t-shirt I really want to wear.

Too many FTR shirts, I like that there's been a lot of Sting shirts, but I'm not going to wear one. There's only been one Ospreay shirt in that time, and it's just a shitty "BRUV" design. I like the Timeless Toni Storm (featuring Toni Storm, written and directed by Toni Storm) t-shirt, but it's sort of a "mid-range grey" colour, which isn't conducive to a fat, sweaty southerner during a Brisbane February.

I'm considering trying to rush a PWTees order tomorrow... but I still don't know who/what I'd buy. Kyle's and Swerve's shirts kinda suck.

Couldn't find a picture of the 2nd one, so I've gone real deep into the back of the wardrobe to find this one - I've literally never worn it.



That was good fun though, I found another Ospreay shirt that could be a possibility (below) - and it was enough fun that I might pull everything out tomorrow, see what I have, chuck some old stuff, and see whether I need to make an order.

I know that i've received shirts (including from people like The Acclaimed) where I've thought "that would be a fun event shirt, but I'd never wear it otherwise". So they don't get worn and they go to the back of the wardrobe. I'm sure there's some stuff there that will surprise me.

Probably time to cancel the sub after the show... (I cancelled the PW crate a while ago, it's only the quarterly AEW crate that I still get.)

I’m thinking about this as well. Probably going to order a Kenny shirt. I did see they had a cool one on sale for an hour but that was at 3am yesterday so I obviously missed it.

Was thinking of buying a rip off Burberry/MJF as an alternative.

I've pulled everything out of the wardrobe. I haven't quite photographed everything, but most of it.

I can't believe I have this many tshirts, and I don't think I want to wear any of them. Despite our rubbish AU dollar and it not being on the Global store, I'm about to order the Harley Cameron tshirt by the end of WrestleDynasty unless someone convinces me otherwise! (Some of these would obviously need a serious iron, and a couple need a lint roll. Dog hair sticks to everything.)

While I'm quite determined to wear a black shirt in the Brisbane humidity, I quite possibly would've worn one of the Danielson ones had he been on the show, same with sting. Maybe I'd consider the black Kenny one above if he were on the show - I'm not expecting he will be though.
