Surely they’re not going with Mox and Jarrett at Grand Slam
Just based on the booking it seems likely. Jarrett somehow overcomes Claudio to earn the shot at Mox. Timing works for Grand Slam. Of course, Swtchblade is the other option, and they could cut Jarrett off early by having Claudio win next week, making the Jarrett title shot a slower burn.

Jesus I'd be flat if Jarrett were in the main event man.
He wasn't a main eventer in WWF. He shouldn't have been a main eventer in WCW. He sucked as a main eventer in TNA when he owned the company. And now he's in his 50s main eventing AEW? NOar (or however Mercedes says it.)

Toni and Mariah will go on last. That’s why I get the sense Mox will get a “2nd tier” opponent. At best that match is third from the top, behind the Golden Bruvs, and maybe even behind Mercedes depending on her opponent.
Ugh. First impression in Australia and old man Jarrett main events. Would be god awful. Switchblade would be amazing

Imma need a vape break at some point of a 3-4 hour show.
So if we end up getting a banger Mox vs Switchblade match, and an MJF vs Jarrett vape break, I could more than live with that.

Zero interest in anything Jarrett is doing, so I POPPED when Hangman came out and had a face to face with MJF. That is exactly what I want to see!

I think the Moxley match in Australia might be a 4 way with Cope, Jay White and Jarrett.

I feel the complete opposite. Aside from Swerve, he's the perfect MJF rival.
Page's entire character arc has centred around how sensitive he's been. Even know, after being mentally broken by Swerve, he has moments where he looks emotionally conflicted.
The best person to attack those insecurities is MJF. Endless possibilities if these two feud with one another. The matches would rule too.
You just know it would end with Max being forced into a Texas Death Match, which would be money.

They'd open the show with Mox and Jarrett if they did that, and Mox would cream him.
Hard to see how they get it ready in time for Brisbane though.

I like Jarrett, I liked his face work in TNA. But if there was any sort of title storyline, should be for something like the International or TNT title.
He's work should ultimately be as a manager/backstage producer - but nowhere near the world title.
When you have the Daniels storyline too almost at the same time - muddies the water a bit.
Kinda feels like now is the perfect time for a Kenny run, wrap up the Death Riders stuff and move onto something different.
Can move in a lot of directions too with Hangman, Swerve and MJF and Will.
