Don't think they've building to a Punk turn at all. Doing it in Chicago would be the all-time bonehead play as well. He's way too over now to not get cheered crazy for the rest of his career.

I'd argue Punk doesn't even need to turn heel, he just needs that snarky truth bombing which is when he does his best work.

If he's turning heel, he needs to be whiney prick that hangs it on most of the roster (which looking at how talent are taking promos isn't the best idea)

That Dynamite main event was a 5 star gymnastics routine but as a 5 star wrestling match, I don't think so.

It was enjoyable, but even in my COVID recovering state AND being a huge Neville/Pac fan.......that moonsault from the post, where they were standing there forever was obvious even in real time.

Yeah, pretty concerning. Unless they’re going to be DLC.

Be interesting to see whether they service this with DLC, or they do what I remember happened with the first UFC game - they released it, it sucked, they gave up on it and I think the next version was released about 9 months later.

There’s no end of stuff they could do. They could put a whole second promotion in there if they want.

Given the game looks like a N64 game it would surprise me if it had DLC. If the entrances are pretty generic aside from theme music there wouldn't be much point in DLC as people could make them on the creations side of it. Considering FTR have been there quite some time now and are the best tag team it would be a huge piss take to ask purchasers to pay extra for them.

I guess the game is more aimed at the nostaglia of how No Mercy and WCW NWO Revenge played but if you want realistic graphics and more simulation just get WWE 2K and download the amazing community creations of AEW they look sensational and you can essentially have the majority of their roster with great realism in looks and just download the arenas and belts and you are set. Only downside is the theme music.

My guess is with the contracts of the various talents it's probably easier to not put them in.

Don't FTR have a more open flexible contract with AEW? Hence why they can go away and do other stuff? Probably only reason they haven't had the titles put on them yet?

Not that I want to jump and defend AEW how they contract talent, but seeing various people not on there doesn't surprise me.

I will still get it to for that reason but I did try WCW NWO Revenge and No Mercy again a few months back on a emulator machine thing and honestly it didn't feel like it did back in the day, it was clunky and limited got over it pretty quickly.

Battlegrounds had the arcade feel to it but was a complete flop.

well I'M excited to play as Yuka Sakazaki. AYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! (she was last on tv for the Owen Hart Cup a few months back)
