Pretty sure it was a late first round (which was there Bock comp) and a 3rd rounder.Did Tambling get traded for a 1st and 3rd rounder? I thought he was traded for a mid 2nd round pick, pick 26.

Yarran has had better seasons but he can at least use the footy but in any case it is all hypothetical at this point. If Watts leaves, we want to take advantage of losing one of our lesser leaders and one of the people who take no responsibility. We don't want to recruit another one like that!
Is this the bullshit Freo supporters were peddling when you were offering serious unders for Clark?
If Richmond got a 1st rounder and a 3rd rounder for Tambling we sure as F*ck should get at least a first rounder for Jack.
That's why they traded basically 3 first round picks.......
With Watts it's a sellers market.
SO basically you expect a team to cough up pick 5-10 for Watts? Or give the demons 2 late 1st round picks for Watts?
Has Craig, as in Neil Craig, come out and said that in public?Yarran has had better seasons but he can at least use the footy but in any case it is all hypothetical at this point.
I'm with Craig on this though, we need a decision.
Yep...I agree. I would hope we get Yarran plus a pick in the 20's . It's a pity because I think Jack will be a very, very good player...but Yarran running off half back, may be better for us.Add a decent pick upgrade to us and it wouldn't be the end of the world but we have to push for harder than that or throw him in the PSD.
I'm starting to get sick of this whole topic really. I think it can be summed up in one simple statement. Jack, sign up or **** off.
I'm starting to really think Watts is a lot about what's wrong with our club. I've never heard such a selfish statement from allayed before. Who does he think he is??
You only offered a slightly better pick to the Lions. The only thing Melbourne did differently to Freo is come in much later with a bigger pile of money.
I would expect a top 10 pick or a pick 10-20 and a young midfielder , the fact is he isn't worth shit all on performance but being a former number 1 pick he is worth something on potential
Cale Morton and Pick 88 say hi
If Adams wants out what do you think would get the deal done?
Incorrect. Freo initially offered Brisbane only a second round pick, because 'Freo held all the cards' and he would 'walk to them in the PSD if Brisbane didn't take it'.You only offered a slightly better pick to the Lions. The only thing Melbourne did differently to Freo is come in much later with a bigger pile of money.
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of or have a link to the Watts interview on TFS?
Missed it and wanna have a look.

All the best and good luck to Wattsy.
Now obviously nothing is set in stone, but with the Dees looking at Choco, Dusty having a real crack this year, and the Dees in Prime position to snag a great Mid, Is it too much of a stretch to think we're in with a real shot to get both Choco and then dusty?RICHMOND'S push to re-sign midfielder Dustin Martin has hit a roadblock with reports the young star has rejected the Tigers' latest offer.
Martin, who is out of contract at the end of this season, is demanding a fair deal for 2014 and beyond, otherwise he will look at his options, according to The Age.

It would be a first, that's for sure. We don't have a good track record in trades - and I don't recall us ever getting a top mid from another club.
