Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If Sandi and Mundy had got through those late season games without further injury and/or we'd won them and scraped into the 8, most of us would have been pretty happy. I don't think so many of us would have been accusing Harvey of risking the health of our players in an attempt to shore up his position as coach.
He did have a bit of history though with regard to playing unfit players, with Sandi in the 2010 semi being the prime exhibit.

How many players came straight back into the team after both short an long term injuries after medical team gave them the ok.

Mzungu,Ibbo,Mundy, Silvagni are a few just off the top of my head.
Rushing a player back once declared fit is on the coaches head.
He didnt play any that werent declared ready to play, now unless harvey pressured medicos in to saying players were ready when they werent, he is not completely at fault.

I still have massive concerns over our medicos, fitness staff(weber) an training grounds.

I think the medico's expected the players to be eased back in after being declared fit. I think that was where the friction between them and the coach came in.

Hardly makes it any more credible than just posting it on a forum though.

Personally, I take these things with a grain of salt until it is officially released through the club or I see it with my own eyes.

Would too, if I thought for a minute they would tell us anything. We only get selected drip feeding.

At the rate supporters over-react, it's not surprising. If I was running the club I'd tell the punters sfa as well :p Otherwise it's too much noise

Look at Neale - I'd presume that if the club hasn't said anything it probably isn't a big deal, even if he did get scans done. I'd imagine light injuries / issues are common in elite athletes - especially in younger guys getting used to the increased loads.

Over-react, us??? :D Hope he is ok. He sounds like good value.

Have a look at docker TV and watch the yoga session.Towards the end you will see Lachie Neale try to do an exercise and he looks in real pain so it looks more than shin splints maybe.I certainly hope not.

Lachie Neale is training. No sign of shin splints.

Solid through the legs that boy is.

Good stuff Lach. We maintain our 'no new injuries' record this preseason....
Touch wood. Maybe sending Walters to the magoos is the sacrifice we needed to the injury gods. Someone forgot to do that last year!

Is Mundy missing still or is he on the track?

Short, sharp session. So bloody hot.

Ball movement and the structures a real emphasis.
Lachie Neale had some good plays around the ball.
Liked Josh Mellington.

Didnt see: Griffin, Grover, Spurr, Sutcliffe, king- Jones, Mundy, Morabito.
Barlow looks good out there.
Ballantyne working fast and hard.
Suban will be the man for the kick outs by the look.

Overall pretty impressed.

Lach ,are you impressed as much as I am with the way Johnson is going about it.Looks a shoe in for a defensive role
Also the set plays from the kick ins with Subans kicking,a joy to watch

First time at training, lovely sitting beneath the shade of the huge Morton Bay Figs...

Ballas... everywhere. Keen and accurate
Pitt... looked slick
Ibbo... ran/walked a lot of laps. Ripped. Didn't see him doing much match set play

BROUGHTS... solid as ever

Fyfe... stand out
Suban... as already noted, kicking in duties. Vocal!
Neale... no sign of shin splints. What a chunky monkey he is!
Pav... slick, looks like a thorough-bred
MDB...kicking looks to have improved

All in all, difficult to know how much to take out of a session, but the players appeared keen and focussed. Good communication between themselves and coaches. Ross Lyon very vocal.

Not sure I'll make any more due to work, but very enjoyable!
