ok so lock out is over. Can we get a timeline for cutting players and the schedual for the draft.... really dont want to cut any players till well into FA TBH...

Can't see why we can't wait until mid-late August on this, wouldn't take long anyway and we're all usualy pretty good getting through the draft. Certainly wait for FA but also for most of the trades that will happen in the next couple of weeks.

yeah due to the lockout, we've basically got a month to draft now. but usually i started alpha draft after cutthroat, cos only 6 rounds.
basically we can start it whenever people tell me to start it. do we need to wait for everyone to post more often first so they know the draft is starting 'now'?

I would say, Send out an email saying the draft is starting in X amount of days. Player rosters must be cut down to, what ever the roster cut needs to be?!, by the end of the draft. This will allow enough time for free agency to finish.

I'm also making drd23 co-owner of the Domination. As no one is sure of JDs whereabouts interest etc. If JD remains absent etc, then drd23 would become sole owner.

Also, don't forget once you've cut down to 34, to click the SELECT KEEPERS tab and manually tick all 34 so that when i process the start of the season all your players stay on your rosters. I will manually double-check before i process anyway, but good if everyone does their own teams.

Keeper Deadline is Aug 7. That's our annual deadline. Whoever one hasnt made a keeper will be lost. But the difference this year is soon as we have everyone cut down to 34, I'm going to manually ensure everyone's 34 are all made keepers and start the offline draft ahead of the Aug 7 date. Basically the draft is to start immediately.

All good, but I'm going to wait a few days for the dust to settle a bit. As Mord says, aside from the FA moves, there's also going to be a lot of cuts made that we won't know about until next week; will definitely effect trades etc...

Excited we're not far away from the draft beginning. Aug 7 the keeper deadline.
If Beta doesn't get off the ground I'm gonna change the playoff structure so we use week 17 as Alpha Bowl.
