Wut?....

Two thirds for a first?

If it was a second I would understand, but that's terrible.

Woodson is a very strange fantasy GM lol.

He'll spruik some has-been back-up and demand no less than a first round pick and you giving up a fantasy stud. Then other times he'll gift a first rounder for a couple of third rounders (one of which is a 2012 3rd).

I think there should be allowance for "good" and "bad" trades, but that one is silly and shouldn't (imo) fly, unless they equalize it better.

Dunno how Woodson can be so schizophrenic.
This is another trade he made in the off-season of him being 'tough'.
I'm normally on a veto guy if theres a suggestion of collusion, but considering Woodson offered me an equally one sided deal (I didn't take it obv) I don't think it's that.

He's targetting a QB given his situation, so 1.01 to 1.04 wouldn't change too much.

If you want to veto then fine by me.
Woody came to me with two options, this one and
the other was me giving him Gronkowski plus 3rd rd pick.
For the sanity of all involved, at least give him your second :p

I am not big on the veto stuff really, and I know this is not a case of collusion (I hope). It is just one of those seriously weird trades! Well done TGBB, I would have made that trade in a second!!

I'm all for veto. If the commish seriously think this is an unfair trade then fair enough, knock it back.

Woody came to me and and made me the offers. I'm not going to knock back Woody's offer in the chance he may then offer someone else a similar trade. I accept, we put it on here and people can judge, commish can use their judgement.

Mind you Woody did offer me Marshawn a couple years back for 2nd & 4th round pick that was met with similar outrage. Woody got Collie and another player, still think he won that one!!

I think the Marshawn one was purely about value - Marshawn's was low at that point but it was a dynamic value compared to the picks static value.

I just think pick values are relatively constant, and theres no reason that a first round pick should go for 2 3rds, both of them probably late when the the value of rookie draft picks falls exponentially quickly.

Considering the value I've gotten for future 1st round draft picks (Mendenhall, a future first) or current first round draft picks (Kolb, Young RBs), I just think it's ridiculously below market value.

But if both Woodson and TGBB are fine with it...

What's all the fuss about? The fantasy football league isn't real. It's like wrestling. Nobody gets hurt. You guys are leaving lots of ring stains about this incredible trade.. two extra sleeper third round picks the mustangs never had can still earn good points while a first round pick can still be a lame BUST.

That's all that matters.

The rate at which 1st round picks bust, even late ones, is a heckuva lot lower than 3rd round picks. Also comparing value of players taken at those spots (ie you're likely going to get a RB or WR or QB with a first, compared to a third where you're taking minnow WRs, TEs, IDP etc), you're selling the first ridiculously short.

We know it's just a game, but it's meant to be competitive, and by pretty much giving away high picks to good players for late picks, you're damaging the competitive nature of the league Larry! :p

YOu could have easily gotten a second + decent depth for that first.

I actually got on the blower after the fiasco and asked if the Terror front office could be 'gracious enough' to slip me up to their 'highest 3rd round pick' to keep the peace. I could of asked for two second round picks (2011 & 2012) but thats just plain greedy.
