We can have excessive immigration impacting on rent etc and the problems you flag. Just means we are not targeting our immigration against what we actually need so cut unskilled immigration and update the skilled list more regularly. Plus all the other things we need to do like build more social housing, increase training etcYer inflation and the unemployment figures are still falling….
Businesses are still crying for skilled workers!!
Hospitality businesses reducing opening hours because they can’t fill shifts…. And your answer is the cut immigration?

We have humanitarian migration, family reunions, and a lot of students whose skills don't align with what we need and are using our unis as a pathway to residency (which the ALP is trying to fix), we also have a large underemployment problem. There are spots to trim the migration account including ensuring that temporary visa holders like students leave on completion of studies unless they are now trained in a skillset we need when they graduate. Just making sure students leave on completion will help.Hah??? We aren’t getting flooded with unskilled immigrants…. Unless you want to include students as unskilled, who contribute billions to the economy and are filling most of the Hospitality jobs….
But we were told they would stop the day he was elected …

No idea where else to put it but headline should be 'young people figure out politics earlier than previous generations'
None of them are in Unions, except possibly the SDA who are the most self-interested of the lot. Very few are rich or expect to inherit anything. The only people who join political parties and thus the political class now, are only in it for themselves. No idea where else to put it but headline should be 'young people figure out politics earlier than previous generations'
Nothing will change, not in our lifetimes.None of them are in Unions, except possibly the SDA who are the most self-interested of the lot. Very few are rich or expect to inherit anything. The only people who join political parties and thus the political class now, are only in it for themselves.
The fact young people recognise this so early gives me great hope of moving away from the 2-party entrenched system.
Thank Christ Albanese is in charge when the Middle East is blowing up. If Dutton were in power, we'd have a bunch of our best assets exposed to terror attacks and a potential war in which we have no strategic interest. Best to stay well clear of this. Neither side is worth fighting and dying for.

It doesn’t say that and reasonably, you would expect a lag
