Well you clearly have a poor understanding on the benefits of trading with the largest consumer on the planet.
You realise we are winning in the trade with china … worth Billions to our economy.
It’s great seeing the wineries putting in more vines after being destroyed by the LNP. We are back to being the number 2 importer of wine to china.. go Albo.
No wonder unemployment is so low.
You do realise who you’re dealing with don’t you? My interest is in what we gave up for this and the other deals to go through. “Oh it’s a good trade?” Yeah but at what cost.l? CCP are the second biggest set of campaigners to deal with outside of Russia and would not be lifting the restrictions without a solid retribution in their favour. It’s how they operate.
On the surface it’s great for our lobster industry. But what’s it cost us. You can’t tell me it’s a good faith deal.

So you must hate that fact we give Santos and other multinationals free gas and resources. There is a reason why the US has military bases in Aus…
At least china pays for our iron ore and other exports.

At what cost? We all know China don’t do anything for nothing. What have we given in return? On face value this is significant. But you can’t tell me there’s nothing going back in return. Dealing with CCP here. You know we won’t win the deal
Well I’ll let you in on a little secret.

Instead of just quietly acknowledging that china are our biggest threat, are likely to become the worlds hegemon moving forward and so building alliances and our defence forces, Scummo and Dutton trumpeted it from the hilltops every day for a few years. China being thin skinned proud pricks with a complex from the “hundred years of humiliation” and a keen sense of their own destiny, cut their noses off to spite their face and put a heap of sanctions on Australian goods one after the other trying to send a message to stfu. Real bully boy stuff.

Meanwhile Labor got into power, dialed back the rhetoric, continue to build ourselves up militarily, continue to build soft power relationships as well as defence treaties with other concerned countries. But stfu about it - so the bully boys have ditched the sanctions.

There’s a saying, walk softly and carry a big stick.

The fact that this very verifiable and not at all difficult to unearth set of facts has escaped you, is due to a combination of a one sided media and a lack of awareness of the world around you.

Have you grasped the concept of ‘trade’ yet?

Socialists running capitalism far better than the capitalists must be confusing

Does anyone give Albo a realistic chance of winning. It’s seems to be fading day by day, is it too late and close to the election to change leader to a Clare or Plibersek who may have a slightly better chance of victory

He will return as prime minister but will be in minority.

Liberals will take some outer suburbs from Labor

But

Liberals will lose some more inner city seats to independents.

In the end they won't gain enough to form government.

When th campaign trail starts people will get to see alot more of Dutton and he will turn them off.

Another great win for Australians … Labor finally undoing the mess the LNP left.
Why would Australian exporters risk voting for Dutton and his twits? The US farmers are regretting voting for Trumps tariffs… you get your bottom dollar Dutton will stuff up traded with them again.View attachment 2191363
Libs were awful the way they worded things and turned well justified concerns into propaganda wins for Xi by blaming China rather than the Xi dictatorship.

Should we really celebrate the government ending what would.have been found by the WTO to be illegal tarrifs given it is due to our governments failure to stand up to Xis growing aggression to his peaceful independent and democratic neighbours. Perhaps instead of bending over to people like Xi, Netanyahu they should be diversifying our trade etc - I am not saying stupid public things like Scummo but block discretely CCP investment in key parts of Australia help.companies move trade away from the PRC, increase ties with the Asean neighbours and Taiwan that Xi is bullying. don't need to announce it, Xi will notice what we are doing but also note we are not causing him to lose face in public (which trigger another one of his sulky tarrifs)

It probably hasn't cost us much, beyond allowing Xi to treat us as clients rather than equals and weakening our support in the region for the peaceful nations he wants to attack.

Note - going public is counter productive, behind the scenes quiet work is what will succeed and above all never express concern about China or the Chinese, just the CCP

You realise we have bipartisan policy of one China policy so we don’t recognise Taiwan as a country…
I’m more worried about the US influence over Australia than China.

We oppose any forceful unification by the CCP which is what Xi is threatening and of course his illegal and growing seizure of Phillipimes territory, seizure of Bhutanese land, threats to Vietnamese, pushes against Indonesia around Netunas.

Spoken like a true greenie. Sure your not Adam Bandt
It’s so easy isn’t it, brandishing someone with a broad brush of strawman non sequitur fallacies.
This idiocy is congruent to my hatred of modernity.
I believe Asimov said it best, The more stupid one is, the clearer one is.
