Yeah it's a tough one.
I'd been budgeting for just our usual 100 point flogging of the tankers, but after their disgraceful loss to the Bombers I reckon 150 points is well on the cards.

Don't worry mate I'm not getting too far ahead of myself but when you play the Weagles and Shockers at home it's hard not to.

Hey what about the power of positive thinking? I started this thread last week and we're still on top.
If we can't enjoy our time at the top after a great win like today, then when can we? I know there's a long way to go yet but why not enjoy it along the way. Plenty of time left in September to celebrate that Premiership.

Well at least another couple of weeks. Freo at home next week is a gimme plus percentage, then Poort away is maybe 70/30 our way.
Dogs will be the next big test but Eade is already shitting himself about how he is going to curb Rooey, Kosi, BJ and Mickey G in the same forward line. Let alone how he is going to handle Milnedog and Schneiderman.

As monotonous as this has become, it has be done. Is there actually anyone left good enough to match us?
Kudos to the Cats and Dogs, they are having a crack, but they still can't keep up with our mind blowing 200%.
As for those other pretenders a couple of weeks back, whatever happened to them? Oh that's right they're not coming after all.

Wow, you've beaten two of last year's bottom three on your home turf and two other sides who are expected to slide down the ladder this year. Let's see how you go playing against the big boys (Geelong, Hawks and Bulldogs). Pity we have to wait till the 2nd half of the year to see you play last year's grand finalists.

Well you can only beat what's in front of you and so far we have played as well as anyone. No doubt Geelong and the Hawks will be the real test but both those teams aren't travelling at 100% at present.
I reckon a 100% Saints outfit could throw a big spanner in both your premiership works. Don't tell me Bomber & Clarko aren't shitting themselves right now at the prospect of taking on the Saints.

I don't think either coach would be too worried about St.Kilda at the moment to be honest. After all, it's 11 weeks till we play you, and 16 weeks until Hawthorn do. A lot can happen between now and then.
I'm sure Bomber's more concerned with Brisbane and Clarkson's more concerned with West Coast, who are the respective sides' opponents next week.
