Sheesh, Adams in addition to Murphy and McStay is brutal.

In: Kreuger, Macrae, JDG.

We may have to use Freddy and AJ in the ruck. I don’t see how we function without Frampton in defence if Murphy isn’t there.

Yep frampton has gone from a dud a month ago to needing three of him this week. Still prefer him in ruck though so will be a dilemma at the selection table. Could we take a punt on Krueger in key defence?

Usually fairly positive bur I'm a realist. Murphy was huge in our win against the Saints and we only just got home. He is now another key player missing.

Moore has lost his two brothers in our back half. Howe, Moore and Murphy supported each other perfectly. This will break up the connection our defence has had as in knowing g when to come off your man and intercept or help out your mate.

Draper will test our weakened ruck division far more than Marshall did. We might win but it will be a struggle. 7 of our best 22 missing makes it very tough.

Our seven are walk up starts in our best 22. The media go on about the saints but half of their injured players would be playing senior footy if they were available.

Agree with this, as well as Frampton rucked yesterday I think he will be needed down back without Murphy. Ruscoe probably comes in as the medium defender

I'll be there in the stands supporting my team. If I think we are facing a tough battle I say so. Do you blindly believe we are going to win every week regardless of our ins and outs and the team we are playing?

We cannot easily cover Adams. If he had played in the prelim we would gave played in last year's grand final. You do not easily replace a player of his calibre. Who do you think can adequately do his job?

Adams is not a smart footballer, he's a work horse that gives his all with the occasional brain fart moments. I'm not sure about Macrae being able to play that pressure role so maybe we just throw the big bodied Carmichael in the guts rotating with Degoey. Another option is to debut a youngster on Anzac Day like Richards?

The loss of Murphy is a bigger problem.

They just have the two ruckman and one of them has to ruck. Also, one of them is pretty ordinary (the one not named Draper).

As long as Frampton plays on the defensive side in the ruck and doesn't allow him to slip forward when in the ruck, we should be fine.

Anzac Day is all about the four points. It’s no more important to our season than any other game.

We can easily cover adams , with our best performed vfl player having been deprived so far of an opportunity. Plus unlike last year, we have mitchell.

More worried about the loss of Murphy and to a lesser extent mcstay than I am about los8n* adams for a week.

I think Murphy is harder to replace too. He's so important to us.

I don't blindly believe we will win every week, but l remain positive every week in the build up to the game, knowing we have the ability to win. I don't put out the negative vibes a week out from the game.
We have a game style that other teams have trouble playing against, so for us it revolves around not only personnel, it's about the way we play the game.
You should put your money on the Bombers, you should clean up...lol

I’ll admit I haven’t looked at Essendons likely setup. I just assumed their forward line would be taller than StKildas midget brigade.

Fair point - small sample size but he's down an average 7 possessions than his time at Hawthorn.

I think our system tends to highlight his impact on games, but whether that counts for much in terms of medal voting is dependant on whoever the voting panel is.
