Can someone with precise knowledge of AFL rules tell me if you’re actually not allowed to run towards a player and jump in front of them to spoil the ball? We got called front on contact for that and it cost us a goal. I always thought there had to be contact with the player.

I also do not know what the free kick for their first goal was about. Chopping off the arm? I did not see illegal contact there by Moore.
That was just a terrible call

Well Ruscoe definitely made contact with ball before making contact with the opponent…. Albeit with the back of his head. Probably shouldn’t have been a free technically but he certainly didn’t have eyes on the ball…

The free against Moore however was a stinker.

You’re kidding, right? He has had about twenty fumbles and half a dozen direct turnovers, more than offsetting the handful of good things he has done.

Sideys game is hard to judge. Alot of the ball, but made some bad errors, causing turnovers. I would say right now a 6/10.....

That handball in to DeGoeys back was something else, and not in the good way.

To be fair Jordy ran straight across Markovs path so he likely confused the hell out of him. No doubt he was expecting Jordy to actually want the handball reciieve. Probably poor communication from both players.
