Watch him closely in a game and he is all over his opponent, scragging, scratching, pulling, holding constantly. But for some reason the rules don't apply to him and he is able to get away with it.
So what you're saying is he has reduced his scragging because he doesn't have to compete in as many contests? Give me a break.
Perhaps you should watch him more closely, no? Because I've seen him play 4 times this year live and watched the replay of each of those 4 matches, but only once have I seen him stuck in a one on one against a bigger opponent, Westhoff in round 1, and surprise surprise he was awarded a free kick against for holding. As Slattery pointed out he doesn't need to do it as much anymore as he's now playing secondary roles on the small-medium sized forwards (Edwards, Betts and a resting mid against Richmond which included Cotchin and Martin) which are all players he doesn't need to scrag.
As to your question my answer is, pretty much. I'm not going to sit here and say he doesn't do it because that would be wrong. Fortunately because those one on one's are happening more and more rarely he has reduced it somewhat from his game.
I just suggest you don't underestimate the ability to zone off a player as part of a developmental tool to combat the amount of scragging that was once part of his game.
Anywho sorry for derailing the thread and good luck for Monday.
