It's a pretty big 3 or 4 weeks of racing ahead of us, probably just trying to protect the main track a little bit I'd say.

I quite like them.
Can put a line through them straight away.
And because they are trained by Hayes, Price, Waller, Snowden, Maher etc they are unders and you get a better price on something else.
Are any of them any good? Yulong January won a few and then hit its mark pretty quick. Can't even think of any others.

What are peoples thoughts on Vow and Declare ? always seems hard to know what a melb cup winning horse is gonna do in races like this with the top weight should be beating these but personally i wont be touching it.

How many recent cup winners have buttered up for wins in the Autumn, even withstanding the international winners that don't race on? Be pretty slim I'd imagine. I think Shocking might have won the Australia Cup afterwards? A fair while ago now.
Edit: Shocking was 18 months after the cup.
