can someone help me out here, haileybury last year had 9 scholarships in there 1's i have 8

you are possibly right, but irrespective of this 2 scholarships per side is a good amount. you can then rely on your general talent pool from the rest of the school. 7/8 is just proposterous to think that you need to have that many scholarships to do well is hilarious, it is a joke and haileybury is one step away from ruining aps school sport._TiGeR-ToWn_ said:yeah last years team

So how many are there? He is saying 9, are you saying he's way off? I can't be arsed reading all this stuff.
I do know that there were 20 footy scholarships over all years 10-12 at Haileybury this year, and you would say most if not all would have played ones, so 19-20 out of 21 would be similar to 9 out of 11.
if your geelong grammar, that was a terrible performance by us, infact disgraceful. if your college you thumped us and it was a decent performance by your one and only good player merryman who hit a ton. (doesn't help when our coaches quite literally made us a bowl on a pitch that could be likened to nepean highway)ablettjnr said:

and no Haileybury wont be running APS sport. Caufield tried to buy a football team but they sucked so much that they couldnt win it even with a number of 'bought' players. they also still do it for Athletics but hey no-one seems to care about that fact either

yes of course you will be happy. It will never happen. Number of reasons. If you get rid of HC because of scholarships, then you will have to take out just about everyone (us Geelongy's excluded) from the comp. Also, by banning scholarships, schools will just find other ways of disguising them. (eg. Vance (MGS) on a music scholarship...)nicho_magic said:

no school does it like haileybury, everybody knows that, most football teams have 3-4 footy scholarships and that is max. haileybury for that matter have 19+. yes it most likely will never happen however, i am sure it might be threatened if there stupid antics continue, none of you understand the pure scale of haileybury's scholarsipsablettjnr said:
